LAMINATE AND PARQUET, DIFFERENCE

A common question that is often asked is what differentiates parquet from laminate and how to tell them
apart.

What is laminate flooring

Laminate, or better known as “faux parquet” is a more practical and economical solution. It consists
of an adhesive layer covered by the overlay. It is a particular type of flooring that originated in the 1990s as
a DIY solution and has undergone several modifications over the years. It is a floor consisting of several
layers with different thicknesses that are held together by resins through a die-casting process.
Laminate is an artificial material that does not transmit the same heat as parquet; it cannot be sanded if
damaged; it is not suitable for rooms that are too humid; high noise level.
